CELEBRATION AND APPRECIATION

Children are God’s gift! And childhood is all about innocence and liveliness. It is about happiness and freedom.

Children’s Day in RKK School was observed on 14th November, 2011 with great gusto and style. Children’s day celebrations are all about giving the children the right kind of knowledge and freedom to enjoy, so that they can grow as healthy and educated citizens of the country. Teachers are fully aware that Children’s Day is about celebrating children in positive ways and they used the opportunity to celebrate and appreciate the children, have fun with them and start new traditions as well as continuing old ones.

The proceedings commenced with a Special Assembly in which the teachers went out of their way to make the students feel unique and special. This was followed by a fun filled trip to Movie Show for class I to class X and to Hotel Sriram International for class XI and XII. It was simply amazing to see how sporting teachers were as they also joined in the festivities- possibly it reminded them of their school days and made them nostalgic. These activities brought smiles on the faces of all present. The day was rounded off by a sumptuous meal that was laid out by the hotel staff.

Thanks to Principal Ma’am, the teachers and the school staff who went out of their way to put the students at ease and make them enjoy to their hearts’ content. Teachers are one of the greatest people whom the students come across in life. Without them, they would have been lost. Thanks to teachers for guiding, inspiring and making them what they are today.
