GANESH CHATURTHI CELEBRATION
“Tat Purushaaya Vidmahe
Vakratundaaya Dheemahi
Tanno Dhanti Prachodayaat”
Through this mantra one asks for blessings of knowledge,
wisdom and prayers that no obstacle comes their way. It is
also believed that chanting this mantra before starting any
new work, expedition etc is auspicious. This is what Ganesh
Chaturthi symbolizes. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated by Hindus
around the world as the birthday of Lord Ganesha. A life-like
model of Lord Ganesha is made 2-3 months prior to the day
of Ganesh Chaturthi.
While the festival when celebrated all over India how can
the students of RKK lag behind? On the occasion of Ganesh
Chaturthi, the students of Class KG-B participated in the
Special Assembly on 2nd September, 2011 where
they performed a dance on the very famous song “Bal
Ganesha” which is one of the favourites amongst all
the kids. Each child performed their own choreographed dance
radiating the blessings of Ganesha on RKK.
