GANESH CHATURTHI CELEBRATION

Through this mantra one asks for blessings of knowledge, wisdom and prayers that no obstacle comes their way. It is also believed that chanting this mantra before starting any new work, expedition etc is auspicious. This is what Ganesh Chaturthi symbolizes. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated by Hindus around the world as the birthday of Lord Ganesha. A life-like model of Lord Ganesha is made 2-3 months prior to the day of Ganesh Chaturthi.

While the festival when celebrated all over India how can the students of RKK lag behind? On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the students of Class KG-B participated in the Special Assembly on 2nd September, 2011 where they performed a dance on the very famous song “Bal Ganesha” which is one of the favourites amongst all the kids. Each child performed their own choreographed dance radiating the blessings of Ganesha on RKK.
