Boarders Outing :A Memorable Visit to Fort Khejarala

The Boarders went for an outing to the village Khejarala, a place 80 km away from Jodhpur .The students had a wonderful opportunity to visit an outstanding example of architecture ,spread across 14 acres of land atop granite boulders hillock. The fort rises like a sun beam from the desert. The stunning red stone of Fort Khejarla over 400 years old and the rugged exterior contradicts an inner paradise with a striking blend of art and architecture leaving all the students with magnificent aura.
The students were given a warm welcome by the hotel people after which they were taken to visit the spellbound grandeur fort adorned with high ceilings, historical photographs, elegant tapestry and antique carved furniture. The terrace of the fort offered a breath taking picturesque view of the beautiful village life.
The students were also made to visit ‘The Spa- A place of wellness’, ‘Antistress – An area of Ayurvedic preventive and curative treatment’. With different fun filled activities as – swimming, DJ party and the magic show the day was made the memorable one for them. The visit ended up with a sumptuous brunch served in the ‘ Fort Khejarala’. On the way back they offered their prayers in an ancient temple of Goddess Durga. It was indeed a royal experience to visit the majesty of the long gone era.
