CREATIVE FIESTA

"How many times have you admired a beautiful flower arrangement?

Have you ever wondered how the art of flower arrangement came about?

In the same manner salad decoration might sound like an unnecessary labour to some people.

But, believe it or not, how we present the food can affect its taste."

Adults are often amazed by young children’s unexpected perceptions of the world and the unique ways in which they express their imagination. We also know, however, that children usually need adult support to find the means and the confidence to bring forth their ideas and offer them, day after day, to teachers, parents and friends. An art becomes a natural vehicle in educational approaches for helping children explore and solve problems.

Young children want and need to express ideas and messages through many different expressive avenues. That’s the reason Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur organized an Inter House Creative Fiesta competition on 9th August, 2011 for the students of classes VI to X.

The Fiesta was basically an amalgamation of 5 different sections such as :

# Flower Arrangement

# Rangoli

# Modern Art

# Salad Decoration

# Mandana Art

The overall Trophy was won by Sri Shakti House.
