EXPOSURE FOR THE STUDENTS OF RKK

The Lady Anusuiyan Singhania Memorial All India Debate competition 2011 was held on 8th and 9th September at LK Singhania Education Centre, Gotan. The Guest of Honour for the function was Mr. A.R. Kohli, the Ex-Governor of Mizoram and the Chief Guest for the function was Mr. B.K. Arora, President JK White Cement works. Apart from the host school many of the outstation institutions had competed.

The students of RKK were escorted by Mrs. Leela Purohit and the students were also guided and helped by Mrs. Sapna Gupta, Mrs. Madhumita Banerjee and Mrs. Nirmal Hada to prepare themselves for the event. Our students of Class XII-Ms. Sanjana Mehta and Ms. Kanishka Singhal were the speakers for the event speaking for and against (Hindi) "Bharatiya Rajniti Mein Badhata Vanshvaad Loktantra ki Safalta mein Ghatak hai". On the other hand our students of Class XI- Ms. Shruti Nanda and Class XII- Ms. Chitrangda Rastravada were the speakers for the event speaking for and against (English) “The withdrawal of US military troops from Afghanistan is against India’s national interest”. Out of 26 teams in total, RKK bagged the 4th position and Ms. Sanjana Mehta was awarded the 1st consolation prize and the cash amount of Rs. 2000/-

Sir Padampath Singhania All India Science Quiz also took place at the same venue on 9th September, 2011. Our students Ms. Vishaka and Ms. Ishu Sharma of Class XII were escorted by Mr. Jai Prakash. Out of 21 outstation teams in total, RKK bagged the 10th position overall.
