After a hectic schedule of studies children wait for a break which would help them to explore hidden talent through various activities. This is a very unique feature of our school where students have sumptuous lunch in Annpurna alongwith their friends which gives them energy to go ahead with the afternoon activities.

General Knowledge / Current Affairs :
Knowledge is itself a power hence students read to be updated with latest burning issues and the happenings in our country as well as the world. Keeping this in mind we have special classes in the afternoon whereby teachers impost knowledge and discuss burning issues. Students are tested twice a year in the form of an assessment.

Dance :
Dance activity is to move the body and fit in rhythm to music, to be steered into rapid movement as leaves in a wind. Students are trained with basics of ‘Bharatnatyam ‘ and along with few steps of ‘Jattiswaran’ and “Allaripu” Girls learn with zeal and enthusiasm. Their talents are clearly witnessed during our annual school day.

Elocution ( Hindi / English )
Elocution is the art and skill of communicating clearly and confidently. Students are instructed in pronunciation and delivery of words. In elocution body language take a important role.

Debating
Debating classes have helped our students excel in many Inter Debate Competitions. Students of our school appears confident communicate at the correct pace, at the correct volume and with expression from time to time we have inter-house Elocution / Debate competition which will help them to build a career through the power of eloquence. Talking on a burning issue enhances their confidence.

Music:
Music activity Hindustani / classical take our children on a ride through the cultural heritage of our country via Indian Classical music. Students are exposed to shrutegyan which helps them to understand the basics of Swar and Taal. Basic ragas like Bhopali, Yaman, Bageshwari, Bhairavi, Sargam, Bandish, Tarana based on the above ragas have been taught. School orchestra comprising of various string and percussion instruments, harmonium, keyboard, flute, play beautiful melodious during any school function.

Art and Crafts:
Hidden talent are exposed if only given a chance through this activity students expresses their own creativity by creating their own designs in various fields like free hand painting, stenal painting, hatik, tie & dye, embose painting, embroidery on fabric. It is unbelievable to see young girls using motifs in different forms on various surfaces and textures.

Basic Mathematics Classes
This activity is mainly conducted for those students who find difficulty in coping up with Mathematics. In this activity teachers drill their mathematical concepts through quizzes and classroom activity. Students prepare mathematical concept of their choice and with crossword puzzles. They explore and extract all mathematical terms. These classes have helped students to love this subject which they feared earlier.

Sports:
Sports help our students be agile, active and physically fit. Student have brought laurels to our school in this field at National, State and District level. Students are trained in various team games namely Basketball, Handball, Kho-Kho and Kabaddi, Track and field events also take place and students have represented in CBSE athletics meet. Indoor games are organized where students enjoy chess, carom etc. We are proud to have national level player in our school.

Home Science:
An activity that grooms and build the personality of young girls. They are taught to be good hostesses at home. To ignite a curiosity among them. Regarding simple cooking, skills, table sitting making m---- for their parties. They have learned various cuisines, Salad decoration, snacks during their home science classes.

Library – Reading Classes
The afternoon session of leisure reading classes make a student develop reading habit, became analytical, enrich vocabulary, quench curiosity hunt for treasures of knowledge. Time spent in the company of books leads them toward success in near future.

Needle work
Students are trained to weave a yarn skillfully teachers teach them different techniques of embroidery and stitches. It is amazing see a little hand bringing out their hidden talent.

Public Speaking
Public speaking prepares the debates, speakers, judges, poets who confidently enlighten other with their views and ideas. Students are trained to perform confidently on stage, address the assembly and excel in debate competition.

Fine Arts
In fine arts children are acquainted with concepts of measurement and division of still life. They draw landscapes, animal figures free hand and with the help of graph. They have learnt the art of making drawing using oil pastels.
Our school provides atmosphere where the child is happy, able to explore her own thoughts and desire through afternoon activities. Creative learning could be encouraged only within a natural environment which is provided effectively by the faculty students enter as tiny tots and grow up as young teenagers to face challenges of today’s world.
