Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls' Public School celebrated it's eighteenth Junior School Day and Prize Giving Ceremony on the 12th October 2009.

The Chief Guest for the evening was Ms. Nandita Das, prominent community upliftment worker and eminent actress of critical acclam well known for her deep involvement with her activism and social work. Her distinguished career graph is as varied as her multifaceted and ever vibrant personality.

Their Highnesses, the members of the Board of Governors and Board of Trustees, parents and former alumni of school graced the occasion and lent their encouragement to the little ones.

The young children highlighted the contribution of Fairy Tales in the overall development of children. The ingenuity and skill of the students were honed by the creative faculty members of the pre-primary and primary school.

As the lamp was lit by the Chief Guest Ms. Nandita Das the young voices of the Junior Choir rose in unison to render the melodious hymn "Sari Srishti Ke Malik Tumhi Ho" along with the little hands holding the tiny flames sparkling in the dim twilight.

After the invocation, the gathering was addressed by His Highness Maharaja Gaj Singhji, Chairman, Board of Governors.

Thereafter, the Principal delivered her Annual Report giving glimpses of various events of the year gone by. The Principal also talked of the holistic development of the child and value building.

Encouraging and acknowledging the accomplishements of the young scholars prizes were awarded for their All Round Excellence by the Chief Guest. Ayushi Vaid received the Best All rounder, Juniors trophy for the year 2009-10. Swaraa Lodha was awarded the Sunniest Disposition award, Dhruvi Agarwal and Supriya Bhandari won the Most Congenial Student award for 2009-10. Akhil Jayawant Patil was conferred the Best Outgoing Boy, Juniors award for the year 2009-10.

The Prize Giving Ceremony was followed by the Chief Guest's address who greatly appreciated the efforts of the school in providing such a creative platform for the all round developement of the students.

The stage presentation was aptly named " Aafareen Afsaane" which captivated each one present there. It was based on the fairy tale " Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs". The play was interwoven with creative dances conveying the wonderful message " The beauty is reflected through our souls which images of the Almighty"

The programme ended with the vote of thanks delivered by the Head Girl of the School Ujjwala Singh.

The team work of the Faculty under the able guidance of the Principal. Mrs. Singh and Vice Principal Mrs. Sharma was well evident.

SENIOR SCHOOL 2009-10

Amidst loud cheers and applause, the eve of 14th October 2009 witnessed a spectacular presentation of "The Awakening" by the multifaceted students of Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girl' Public School. The theme,'Fire within the youth' showcased the burning issues of today's society proving that the youth is very powerful. They have potential unlimited and unmatched and thier great talent needs to be diverted towards good causes.

The programme started at 6:30 pm with the lighting of the lamp by the Hon'ble Chief Guest, Mrs. Rajshree Birla, Director, Aditya Birla Group of Companies and Chairperson for the Group's Community Initiatives and Rural Development. Rajamata Krishna Kumari Sahiba, His Highness Maharaja Gaj Singh ji Sahib, Her Highness Maharani Hemlata Rajye Sahiba, many dignitaries and eminent citizens blessed the portals of RKK by their kind presence. The annual report by the Principal, Mrs. Neera Singh, Chief Guest's speech, His Highness Maharaja GajSinghji's speech, prize giving ceremony were other highlights of the show.

The programme came to a spectacular close with a firework display and vote of thanks delivered by the School Head Girl, Ujjwala Singh. The beauty of the programme was the involvement of the entire school, their dedication, commitment and the team work.
