GENERAL RULES

1. Parents should note that the school has very limited seats in each class.

2. A child once admitted as a Boarder will not be allowed to become a Day Scholar in the same academic session except under very special or compassionate circumstances.

3. Classes Nursery to I – Admission is given on a “first come first serve” basis. There is no written admission test but there is an informal interaction. As soon as the seats are filled the registration stops. We have 75 seats in Nursery approx. For Nursery, KG, Prep and class I there is no vacancy as of now and new admission can be taken only against a T.C.

5. Classes II to IX – A written entrance exam of 50 marks each in English, Hindi and Mathematics is taken and admission is based purely on merit. Whoever scores the highest will be given admission, only if a vacancy exists. Admission will be granted to the top scorers only against a T.C.

6. Class X & XII – No admission is granted in these classes as they are CBSE Board Classes. Only a government servant on transfer can seek admission in these classes. The transfer order of the father is supposed to be attached.
7. Class XI – It’s a class where fresh admission can take place. Admission is granted purely on the CBSE Board Result of the student and she has to qualify the cut off set by the school for admission to three different streams. Science, Commerce and Humanities.

8. Candidates who do not qualify in the Entrance test or interview will not be considered for admission.

9. THE PRINCIPAL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADMIT OR REJECT ANY STUDENT.


10. At the time of admission, the following documents are to be submitted to the School Office.

• Two passport size (recent) photograph.
• Original Transfer Certificate, counter signed by DEO/CBSE authority (within one week after the admission is confirmed )
• Copy of Birth Certificate by Municipal Board.
• Copy of mark sheet / report card of the previous class.
• Copy of the registration card of class IX given by the CBSE Board for admission to class X.
• Copy of the transfer Order for admission to classes – IX, X, XI or XII.
• Copy of Serving Certificate in case of defence personnel.
• Original Migration Certificate in case for Class XI only.


AGE CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO NURSERY CLASS
As per the directorate of education India the age of admission is: Completion of 3 years as on 31st March of that year in which admission is being sought. We will also consider children who will complete 3 years by 30th June. A separate list of those students will be maintained who are born in the months of July and August.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
The Principal is very occupied in supervising, teaching, seeing to the children’s individual problems and administrative work and is therefore unable to see parents without prior appointment. She is available in her office on week days between 8.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m.

REGISTRATION AND ADMISSION

Registration for admission in Nursery only will open from 1st December; Parents desiring admission for their daughter / ward are to submit the Registration form as attached to the Prospectus along with a fee of Rs. 2000/- latest by 10th January. The time, date, place of the tests and interaction with Principal shall be notified to the Parents in advance. The registration Fee is non-refundable.

NEW ADMISSIONS: OTHER CLASSES
The number of seats in each class is very limited. Admission to students in other classes will be given subject to availability of seats. Details of admission tests & interviews may be checked from the school. They are to submit the Registration forms along with a fee of Rs. 2000/-. The Registration form as attached to the Prospectus may be used. The Registration Fee is non-refundable.

CURRICULUM

The school follows the CBSE pattern. The medium of instruction is English. The school academic session is form April to March. No student shall be eligible to take the examination (Home & Board) unless she completes 75% of attendance up to 31st January.
STUDY COURSES
The Central Board of Secondary Education course consists of two years i.e. Class XI and Class XII. The course is integrated but bifurcated into class XI and XII respectively, so that the content load is reduced and real teaching-learning is promoted in the classroom. The class XI examination will be based on the course content of that class and examined internally by the School.

SCHOOL RULES FOR BOARDERS

1. Strictly no cash is to be given to any student in this school.

2. Please follow the given instructions regarding the school uniform:

(a) All ribbons and hair bands must be white.

(b) On working days the following minimal jewellery is permitted.
(i) Small studs on the ears.
(ii) Small nose pin. (No gold chains, rings or bangles are permitted)

(c) On Sundays and holidays, home clothes and costume jewellery may be worn, provided the girl is not going out.

(d) Any girl going out must be in proper uniform. No extra jewellery or make up is permitted for any girl going out.

(d) Girls are not allowed to leave the campus without permission
or without an escort.

3. VISITORS:

(a) Visitors permitted by parents are allowed to meet their wards on the last Saturday of every month only. Visiting hours are from 4.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. No visitors are permitted to meet their wards beyond the visiting hours. Parents / Guardian can pay the fee on last Saturday of the month between 8 am to 12 noon.

(b) Visitors are requested to meet the House Mistress before meeting the student. No visitor is allowed to meet any student without staff permission.

(c) Summer Timings April to September 5 to 7.30 p.m. Winter Timings October to March 4.30 pm to 7.00 pm.

4. OUTINGS:

(a) Students are permitted to go out for outings with parents / local guardians as indicated in the school calendar. Please follow the timings for departure and return very strictly.

(b) Parents / grand parents or close relatives authorized by parents must always come in person to collect their wards from the school and bring them back at the end of an outing. If they are unable to do so, they must send a letter of authority with the person sent to collect / leave the girl. Failure to do this will result in the student not being allowed to leave the school.

(c) Leave during the term is given only for the following reasons :

i) Marriage of only real brothers and sisters.

ii) Medical treatment referred to by the school Doctor/ nurse. A copy of the appointment with the doctor must be attached with the application for
leave.

(d) Permission for extra-ordinary leave under special circumstances may be granted by the Principal only

(a) Classes - X, XI, XII every Saturday from 5.30 p.m. – 8.00 p.m.
(b) Classes -III – IX every Sunday from 4.30 p.m. – 7.00 p.m.
